About Us...

The Sundre Community Choir is comprised of male and female singers between the ages of 16 and 80 from Sundre and the surrounding area. New members most welcome! Previous singing experience is helpful, but not required. No audition necessary. We convene mid-September for the fall sessions and end of January for the spring sessions.

Let me show you around...

Hello Everyone!

I have been getting some great responses to this new website for the choir.  I am so glad that it is being well received.  It is a work in progress, so bear with me as all the details get worked out.

I would like to give a quick tour of the page as you see it today.

1.  At the top of the page you will see different tabs.  Right now there are three-- HOME, FUNNIES, and PICTURES of our choir through the years.  The HOME tab is the one you are reading now.  It will include all new entries and updates.  The FUNNIES tab is a collection of choir cartoons and such that Pauline has collected from the web.  And the PICTURES tab is pretty self explanatory.

I may add new tabs in the future.  One that is being considered right now would be a page to introduce our choir members.

2.  On the right hand side of the page there is a column with different sections.

  • at the top of the column there are two links which will take you to the videos for the past two concerts that have been posted on YouTube.
  • part way down this column you will see a place to FOLLOW BY EMAIL.  If you would like to be notified when there is a new post via email, please sign up at this spot.
  • And last in that column is a record of all the posts made so far.
3.  At the end of each individual post you have the opportunity to leave a comment or a question.  You will see a link that says COMMENTS,  click on that and a page will open for you to record your thoughts to be shared.  Go ahead and give it a try.  If you have any problems, let us know and we can help you out.  


One of the great benefits of this website is to have a presence on the web for people to connect with the what is happening with choir.  It will allow us to easily access past pictures and videos.  And it also is a benefit to those who are not members of Facebook, with this format, anyone with an internet connection can stay in touch and informed about all things to do with the choir.  So please share the web address with friends and family.  -- http://sundrecommunitychoir.blogspot.ca/

    I am looking forward to everyone interacting on this page on a regular basis. It looks better that facebook. Good job Pam.
